From the first crash landing in 1959; the first manned landing a decade later; and the upcoming plans by SpaceX, Blue Origin, we will explore the surprisingly difficult feat of "landing a man on the Moon and returning him safely to the Earth." Join guest speaker David S. Ball, a retired Air Force officer who volunteers with the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) as a Solar System Ambassador as he shares a presentation and takes questions from the audience.  The first 100 patrons to attend will get a free pair of eclipse glasses to view the upcoming solar eclipse in April.  Talk is geared at adult and teen audiences.  Children interested in the topic are welcome to attend with a parent.
