Put your library card to good use and get started with two of our major genealogical resources, FamilySearch and Ancestry Library Edition. In this workshop, you'll learn how to get the most out of these digital databases through step by step instruction. You are welcome to bring a laptop to follow along with the presentation, but no device is required to attend this workshop.

Topics that will be covered include:

• Accessing both databases whether at home or in-library
• Creating an account (if necessary)
• Using the best search functions to research ancestors and historical figures
• Understanding scanned documents and what information you can retrieve from them
• Identifying additional genealogical resources provided by the library
