This free 6-week Citizenship course is a joint project from Burlington Public Library, Woburn Public Library, and St. Mark Community Education.  The Citizenship course will be held at Woburn Public Library, 45 Pleasant Street, Woburn, MA. The course will be held on 6 Saturday mornings, beginning March 2, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Registration is required for this FREE course.  Register.

The course covers the naturalization process and prepares students for the citizenship interview. Topics included are the 100 civics questions, the reading and writing sections, and the interview questions based on the N-400 application. Free assistance is available if students need help with the citizenship application.

Requirements

  •  Intermediate level of English.
  •  Legal U.S. Permanent resident (hold a green card) for 4.6 years

OR

  • Legal U.S. Permanent resident (hold a green card) for 3 years if married to a U.S. citizen.
