Join us to discuss a fantasy book every third Wednesday! The books for June are a pair of short novellas by Moses Ose Utomi, The Lies of the Ajungo and The Truth of the Aleke.
Summaries: The Lies of the Ajungo - "Three days before he turns thirteen, the age when your tongue is cut out to appease the terrifying Ajungo Empire and make sure it continues sending water, Tutu embarks on a quest for salvation of his mother, his city and himself."
The Truth of the Aleke - "Seventeen-year-old Osi is a Junior Peacekeeper in the city, and when the mysterious leader of the Cult, known only as the Aleke, commits a massacre in the capitol and steals the sacred God's Eyes, Osi steps forward to valiantly defend his home."
Books will be available at the circulation desk and on Overdrive/Libby.
